The merging of two beer households
Early in getting to know each other, Jorden Foss & James Garbutt (owners of Steel & Oak Brewing, New Westminster, BC) and Lee & Mike Spence (owners of The Drake Eatery, Victoria, BC) realized they had very similar core values in operating their respective businesses. To have a positive and meaningful impact in their communities. That was the starting point of "We should do a project together sometime!"
And now here we are. Tapping into the combined knowledge and experience of all the partners, that now includes Ryan Bangma, we humbly present Herald Street Brew Works. It is our goal to offer a unique tasting room experience that is both enjoyable and educational.
